1 Gill/Chapman family on Thu Feb 27, 2014 1:20 pm

Mary Wilcock Gill born 1856 Eloshayle Wadebridge, married William Ranger Rosewarne Chapman in 1876. They had 4 children
William John Chapman born 1877
Elizabeth Jane Chapman born 1881
Lottie Chapman born 1885
Beatrice May Chapman 1888-1895
All born in Eloshayle.

William Chapman (senior) dies in 1894

The family seem to have disappeared in 1901.

By 1911 William, junior is married to Lucy Woodman and living in or near Tavistock.
Lottie has also married, to Sydney Williams.

No sighting of Elizabeth Jane.

Both William and Lottie marry in Devon so I have a feeling sometime the family may of moved to Devon.

Lottie and her family do return to Eloshayle by 1909.

Any help would be appreciated.

There is a possibility that Mary(mother) may of remarried in 1901 to a George Meager but not sure about that.

There's this family in 1901 living Egloshayle Village

George Meagor 39 born Egloshayle game keeper
Mary Meagor 42 born Egloshayle
Nellie Meagor 10 born St Breock
Annie Meagor 8 born St Breock
Lottie Meagor 6 born St Breock

In 1911 Annie and Lottie are servants.

Nellie Meagor born Jun 1891 so I was about to rule it out but George and Mary are together in 1911 and have stated married 10 years no children.

So who do the children belong to? A previous marriage for him perhaps?
The names don't match your Chapman children nor does the age match for your Lottie No
