Came across an episode in my suggestion box tonight for Kelly Clarkson.

Don't remember seeing her one before so could be a new series  Very Happy

It's not been on my radar either.

Is it part of the US series?

Yes US series.

Found this.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" returns on a new network, TLC, this summer with more of your favorite celebrities searching for their roots.

The Lisa Kudrow-produced series' new season will feature Christina Applegate, Kelly Clarkson, Cindy Crawford, Zooey Deschanel, Chelsea Handler, Chris O’Donnell, Jim Parsons and Trisha Yearwood researching their family trees.

"Who Do You Think You Are?" aired for three seasons on NBC before getting the axe in May 2012, but TLC announced the return of the series a year later.

Who on earth is Zooey?!

Well I'm confused. The episode in my suggestions was recorded Monday 20th BBC1 at 11.20pm but I can't see another one in the TV guide for next week nor anything in the planner. Huh. No

11.10pm sure is an odd time to put on a programme like this.

I watched Christina Applegate.  Didn't know her from Adam and sorry to say I didn't find it particularly interesting.

Maybe I'll find next week's a bit more gripping.

PS : Just watched Kelly Clarkson and that was much more to my taste.

Just watched Cindy Crawford (from last night's BBC1) and enjoyed it.

Except, shallow me, I became rather fixated by the fact that although she can smile, she can't frown.  100% wrinkle-free forehead.

Haven't seen Cindy yet but will be staring at her forehead throughout  cyclops

Saw Kelly but war and politics not my cup of tea. And she kept hugging everyone.

You'll be alright with Cindy. She didn't hug anyone  lol!

Seen it.  She was like an automaton in her manner wasn't she, quite the opposite to hugging everyone  Laughing
Better when she got to England and cheered up a bit.

Fancy knowing 6 of your great grandparents that was amazing.  Must have bred young in the Midwest.

Sorry to say but I haven't enjoyed any of them since the first episode.
Don't know if it's because they are American. Never heard of the last two people but that shouldn't make a difference if the stories are good.
It must be me  Sleep

The scheduling is a real problem for me - it doesn't start until 11.30pm-ish - which is way past my bedtime and I'm hopeless at remembering to watch things on the iPlayer.

I did manage to see the first three, but couldn't be bothered with Jim somebody and Zoey somebody else.  Don't know either of 'em from Adam.  Might try a bit of Chris O'Donnell - if I remember - but if it doesn't grab me in the first few minutes, I doubt I'll stick with it.

Sometimes the story is interesting, but the celeb gets in the way and that's frustrating.  Sometimes the story doesn't particularly grab me, but I like the celeb so stick with it.  Hard to please, that's me  What a Face

Guessing you don't have Sky or Tivo to record stuff then  Sad
I couldn't do without being able to record programmes.
Honestly at least 95% of the stuff I watch is recorded.

Wouldn't have Sky even as a gift.   No  No  No  No  No

Although in a previous house we were happily with Virgin, when we moved here they messed us about and said we could have a full package (phone line, broadband and TV), but then it turned out they had insufficient capacity locally to cope with demand for broadband and TV, so we ended up without anything from them.  Sad

Maybe next time we move we'll get back to Virgin.

I hear you with Sky.  We used to have Sky but had so much trouble with the boxes having to be replaced gave up on them in the end and switched to Virgin.  We have broadband with Virgin as well.

Is Chris O'Donnell the next episode?  I'll try and remember to send you a "remember to give it a whirl on the old  pirat  player thing"  Basketball
