Susan Ford born 1873 Cromhall Gloucestershire. Parents Richard and Jane Ford.

Found a marriage for Susan on FreeBMD, in 1892 to a Andrew William Griffin.

On ancestry in the 1901 census they have a daughter Florence born 1887 Bristol.

Does not appear that Andrew had married beforehand, and its possible that Florence was born out of wedlock.

Cannot find them on the 1911 census,

At this stage I do not want to order a marriage certificate, but would like to think I had Susan married to the correct man, there are several possible marriages in the 1890's on FreeBMD but on ancestry This was the only Susan who's husband was called Andrew Griffin.  Another little doubt I have is on the 1901 census Susan is born in Bristol 1868.

Any help would be appreciated

Doesn't quite fit that one does it, birthplace and age are off for her.

How about this one.

Marriage Dec 1895 Bedminster
Susan Ford
Henry Charles Barton

Henry C (down as Bartow but corrected to Barton) 30
Susan 27 born Cromhall
Frances down as male 11 - and a bit old - investigate! *
Edith M 3
Florence A 1

*there's a line through the age so it might not be 11 - maybe 4.

Henry is a carpenter.

Add for 1911 Baytree Cottage Malvern Wells.

In 1901 they were living Cromhall near Coles Bridge.

And although one of the children from 1901 is missing in 1911 they claim 9 children born 9 still living so she must be elsewhere. *

* she is out as a nursemaid in Malvern age 14

Oh and last but not least there is a family tree on Ancestry with the same marriage for her Smile

No Frances has turned into Frank by the next census! He was a boy both times.

The missing one was Edith M the 3 year old in 1901 but found her living out as a nursemaid in 1911 so all are accounted for.
