According to the 1939 register, Diana Margaret Pass's occupation was " As Column Ii"

What do they mean by that?

sorry I don't have access to FMP so cant help. perhaps Tournie can.

from wild guess I would assume there is another column somewhere that lists occupations

I don't have full access to it either I'm afraid just the search index so can't see the actual images.

Can you scroll up to the top to see the headings?

All the examples I've seen have the women as "unpaid domestic duties" but I wouldn't like to presume that was the case with yours.

And for tourmie and vron: Col 11 is headed Instructions, and it's where they note things like ARP Warden, First Aider etc.
