I seem to be missing William and Elizabeth Crossley in 1861. They were born Huddersfield 1827 and 1829 respectively. I have them in Lockwood in 1851 and in Swindon Wilts in 1871. I have all other years.

I can see a William as a lodger in 1861 (can't look at the details at present to see if married) but no Elizabeth. She is also missing from the family in 1871 but have tried that before and failed to find an entry for her.

I was interested to look for other children because the earliest child I have was born 1858 and the marriage was 1849 and that seems a big gap hence looking for any children on the 1861.
I wonder if earlier children were born in Yorkshire and died before they moved.

Any help appreciated.

the william in 1861 is an unmarried lodger and his occupation is painter so i doubt if that is your william. do you have the whole family inc elizabeth in 1881 - i cant see them.

PS I know of two children who should, in theory, be on the 1861.
Susannah 1858 and William 1860.

Crisis over have found them under Crossby Very Happy
William 34 Elizabeth 35 Susannah 3 and William 6 months at 15 Oxford St Swindon so they must have moved from Yorkshire between 1851 and 1861.

Still looking for any children born between the marriage in 1849 and 1858 when Susannah was born.
