Thought it would be nice to share any breakthroughs we get as well as problems on the ancestry front.

You may know that a son of my Thomas H went to S Africa and had two sons.  I only had the name of one from his fathers death notice, nothing else at all not even when he was born.

A bit back I found a marriage for him on family search and the other day I checked again and found baptisms for 4 daughters of his  Very Happy
They were born in the 1930's/1940's so could still be around annnnd you can view the actual baptisms and print them off cheers

All 21 entries for "Hinchliffe South Africa" are mine, all mine  bounce

The biggest success story will be finding George so watch this space!
You may be waiting a long time but I have one or two ideas.

Am currently checking all the West Yorkshire marriages and viewing the certificates just in case the fathers name is a scrawl and it could be James after all.

Then I am going to go through all the deaths 1851-1861 and see if I can list where they could have been buried and contact those places.
