Can anyone offer a solution to this one please.

Here is the BMD entry.

Deaths Dec 1855 (>99%)

Hinchcliffe Elizabeth Ann Huddersfield 9a *

As you can see it has a cute little * where the page number should be.
I did an order via the GRO and put what extra info I had ie daughter of Mark address Dale St but they were unable to find a record.

I have looked at the scan on BMD and can see the name 4th from the bottom of the page. It reads Hinchliffe (which is what it should be) do you think this is the problem? If I do another order using the correct spelling will they be able to find it scratch

Name: HINCHLIFFE, Elizabeth Ann

Registration district: Huddersfield

County: Yorkshire

Year of registration: 1855

Quarter of registration: Oct-Nov-Dec

Volume no: 9A

Page no: 198
