Marriage check please

When I decided to start a tree on ancestry I obtained alot of information from their trees, now after foolishly deleting, have decided to go back to my old tree on tribalpages so am busy checking everything so sorry if I keep asking for help continually.

There is a marriage that I cannot find. William Thomas Stone born 1875 Bristol married Mary Florence Ada Crew in 1896, Bristol. Mary was born 1876 Bristol.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've looked on FreeBMD and can't find a Stone/Crew marriage in 1896.

I've looked at both the trees on Ancestry that have this "marriage" and they both say 1896 in Barton (by which I think is Barton Regis registration district), but neither of them have a marriage record attached and I can't find one either.

BUT, I have found this :

There's also an extract from the National Probate Calendar for her :

STONE Mary Florence Ada of 64 Gordon Road Whitehall Bristol 5 (Wife of William Thomas Stone) died 11 June 1941 Administration Bristol 30 June to the said William Thomas Stone night watchman. Effects £196 8s. 9d.

Very kind offer but I already have alot of information on the Crew family who married into my father's family that I do not want to waste your time. If you come across any social history that would be interesting.

I've had a quick look again at both the trees, but can't see any notes etc that might put any meat on the bones, so to speak.
